Our Mission
The mission of the Yohan Abraham Foundation is to provide scholarships, tuition assistance, grants and other forms of financial assistance to students and activities with demonstrated need for such assistance in the Elmwood TN area where Yohan Abraham last lived and worked. In addition the foundation may at its discretion broaden the area of outreach to other parts depending on giving from patrons to surrounding areas including all of the United States of America where Yohan was a citizen and India which was his country of birth.
Student Financial Assistance: Each application for financial assistance will be evaluated by the directors of the foundation to check if it fits with the mission of the foundation. On approval by a majority of directors the financial assistance will be approved for disbursement.
Student Activity Assistance: Each application for financial assistance for student activities not covered by the education board will be evaluated by the directors of the foundation to check if it fits with the mission of the foundation. On approval by a majority of directors the financial assistance will be approved for disbursement.
Directors of the Foundation
Stefan: President, Brother, Irish Twin and person who knew the most of Yohan's hopes and aspirations. He walked the Appalachian Trail from Springer Mtn in Georgia to Mt. Katardin in Maine in Yohan's honor and to discern its mission.
Rama: Director, Brother from a different mother (& father), spiritual guide and leader of the trio on the Quest for Truth.
Cathy: Secretary & family friend who knew Yohan for over a decade. Has made a empathetic career of welcoming people to their new neighborhood.
Geoff: Director, & family friend, general surgeon who fixes veterans like Yohan and deeply aware of issues around veterans and their loved ones.
Paul: Treasurer, Dad, technical handyman and professional grunt. Contact me for all matters regarding this foundation.
